The hat is closed.

The Thawing giveaway ran through week 0 and is now closed to new entries. Tokens went out by hand: no sale, no pool. Entries already drawn are still being paid out.

Week 0 has ended and the giveaway is no longer taking entries. What follows is the record of how it ran.

Giveaway entry

Thawing · Move 01 · closed

Entries closed at the end of Thawing, with the lock window. Nothing further is being collected here, and nobody will ever ask you to send anything first.

Payouts already drawn are still going out by hand. The full record of what has been sent is on the distribution ledger.

House rules

The rules

No empty accounts. The address needs some history of its own: a balance, or transactions. Freshly-made addresses with nothing in them get filtered out, because that's how one person becomes a hundred entries.
A Twitter account helps. It's optional and always will be. But it's the simplest way to show there's a person behind an entry, and entries without one are the first to go when filtering.
One entry per person. Not per address. Submitting a pile of addresses is the fastest way to have all of them removed.
Use an address you hold the keys to. Not an exchange deposit address; those don't reliably credit tokens sent to them, and you may simply lose them.
Giveaways are discretionary. Entering is not a promise of EPOCH. Nobody is owed a giveaway, and being filtered out isn't an appealable decision.
